import/export

i’m really disappointed that my mom and the other folks back home can’t watch rory and paddy’s great british adventure,

i thought they would have really liked it. it’s weird what gets exported to other countries. like the great fluff mystery…why would someone go to a very posh department store in england to buy fluff??

and if you look at BBC america you find dr who, gordon ramsey and jamies oliver but no rory and paddy!!

a quintesential british sporting competition. the details are on wikipedia but of course that doesn’t make you laugh. here are the sports they did

well, it feels like i am doing a bit of bog snorkeling myself but fighting back. i got an email last night from the project director (who never speaks to me, NEVER!) saying my boss had mentioned that i told him that the infections rates had gone up and basically how dare i spread nasty rumours like that and where did i get that information. i wrote back and am learning the value of cc-ing other people and got a well done from my boss for pointing out that indeed infection rates had gone up in a specific area and i had a graph to prove it-SO THERE SMARTYPANTS!!!

today i am meeting someone at my hospital and i think i will work another walk along the canal into the transportation routine on this bright sunny day!

  1. I’m afraid to ask what dwile flonking might be, but also feel certain that you should’ve worked those two words into your email reply to that person!

  2. Not everyone understands British humour! We have heaps of BBC drama and comedy programs and I love them although lots of my Australian compatriots do not like them.

Absence makes the heart grows fonder. Likewise, lots of British products which you guys consider very ordinary are sold in specialty stores or department stores at exhorbitant prices!

  3. BBC America sucks! It’s the same programs OVER AND OVER. I really do miss the telly there. I heard British TV sucks…I don’t agree…I LOVE it!!
