I bull**** for a living
An NHS manager believed to earn more than £50,000 a year admitted on an internet posting that she earnt her money “bull*****ing” for a living.
Caroline Davis, assistant director of strategic partnerships at Eastern and Coastal Kent Primary Care Trust, made the comment on her Friends Reunited page, on which she listed the places she had worked.
She wrote: “I now live in Dover, where I work for ther NHS, bull*****ing for a living, no change there then.”
Ms Davis’s job involves working with local authorities and other public bodies to ensure patients’ interests are best represented.
A fellow worker at the trust told The Sun: “Her comments make a mockery of hard-working staff. It’s just downright rude.
“It’s disgusting that she has written something like that on a public site when she works for the NHS.”
A spokesman for the trust said: “We are following an internal process with the individual concerned. We take our reputation very seriously and disapprove of anything which brings the NHS into disrepute.”
Ms Davis’s salary could pay for at least two nurses. She was unavailable for comment.
